Bbc Question Time Under Fire After Biased Brexit Special

BBC Question Time under fire after "biased" Brexit special

Audience member delivers withering assessment of "post-Brexit freedoms"

The BBC's Question Time programme has been accused of bias after a special edition on Brexit featured an audience of Leave voters.

The programme, which aired on Thursday evening, saw politicians from the Conservative, Labour, Liberal Democrat and Brexit parties answer questions from the audience in Chester.

However, viewers were quick to point out that the audience appeared to be overwhelmingly made up of Leave voters, with many taking to social media to express their anger.

One audience member, who voted Remain, said that the programme was "a disgrace" and that it was "clear that the BBC had handpicked an audience that would support Brexit."

Another viewer said that the programme was "a waste of time" and that it was "obvious that the BBC was trying to influence the outcome of the referendum."

The BBC has defended the programme, saying that it was "a fair and balanced debate" and that the audience was "representative of the views of the British public."
